A Sensitive Extraction and Analysis of Urinary Catecholamines Using Microelution SPE and Kinetex Biphenyl (TN-0106)

Abstract:

This technical note describes how to use a sensitive microeluction SPE in conjunction with a Kinetex Biphenyl HPLC column in order to resolve an interference that coelutes with 3-Methoxytyramine on a standard C18 HPLC column, while reaching low limits of quantification for specific urinary catecholamines, metanephrine and normetanephrine.
